THE ARTIST & EXPOSURE SHOW
The Artist & Exposure show is a fresh new show produced and presented by Carmela Antoniou (creator/producer of the ukshowcase show on ukflow). The shows sole aim is to expose and showcase talent from around the world, signed and unsigned. Producers, rappers, singers, dj’s, mc’s, males, females, not to pin point any certain group of individuals lets just say all music industry peeps! I refuse to play UK ONLY, as I strongly believe its making the wrong statement, Good music is good music, regardless of where it was made, Tracks made in the UK should be played alongside tracks made in any other country.
Each week Carmela presents the show on www.sweetuk.net Wednesday’s from 10:30am until 1pm, you are able to talk to us live in the studio on our msn which is Sweetuk@hotmail.co.uk or the studio number 07984 912 203. Also on www.hcityradio.com Wednesdays 3 – 5pm, studio msn is artist_exposure@hotmail.com. Playing mainly R&B and Hip hop, with occasional outbursts of something old or something funky!! Presenting on everyday life, music industry info and news, keeping her audience up to date on what’s going on!
SET TO BE A SMASH OR DASH IT IN THE TRASH!!
To appear on the show there is a procedure, “Smash it or Dash it”. This is the part of the show where Carmela will showcase tracks sent in. (carmelaantoniou@aol.com or artist_exposure@hotmail.com) The audience gets to decide to “Smash it or Dash it!” If the track is voted as a smash, the artist is invited to appear on the show for an interview and live performance. They are also advised to bring along some freebies such as albums, mixtapes or merchandise for a lucky listener! So make sure you lock in to show some support! It’s a great way to obtain some feedback and to see who the audience feels is HOT!
If you are not wishing to appear on the show but would like some airplay on your music, you can simply email Carmela your material. Tracks sent in must be radio edited, Artist & Exposure conduct a strict policy of no swearing.
